Maui Craft Tours prides itself on a relaxed, delectable, and (most importantly) safe adventure experience. We work hard to make our tour one of the most unique Maui activities available on the island, provided in a safe and fun environment for everyone. To maintain that goal for all our guests, tour participants must adhere to the following policies in order to join any of our adventures.
All reservations must be made in our online booking system; either by the guest via website, or by a Maui Craft Tours Booking Agent via telephone. Participation may be refused if the maximum number of participants for a given tour has been reached. Tours must be paid in full via credit card at the time of booking.
All Maui Craft Tour Guests must be 21 (twenty-one) years or older. Hawaii State Liquor Law requires the licensees to be responsible for the vetting of personal identification to determine whether someone is 21 (twenty-one) years or older. Documents acceptable as personal identification are limited to
A valid federal or state identification card; or
A passport; or
A valid state or international driver’s license
You MUST have one of the above acceptable personal identifications in your possession to be served alcohol at any of the venues. We will therefore be checking IDs upon tour check-in. No refunds will be provided if you arrive to your tour without valid ID.
MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM PASSENGERS
Tours require a minimum of four passengers to proceed (with the exception of private tours). You are not required to register a party of four passengers; but at least four total passengers must book in order for the tour to proceed. If the passengers count is not met, Maui Craft Tours will call or email you within 24 hours of your scheduled tour to make arrangements to move your reservation to another date (when possible) or process a refund. There is a maximum number of 13 guests allowed on each tour.
Please arrive no fewer than 15 minutes prior to the tour start time, as the tour must depart on schedule in order to meet every designated destination at the arranged time. No refund will be provided if you arrive to your pickup destination late and you miss the van departure.
CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
Cancellation occurring prior to 72 hours will be eligible for a refund of tour fare. Cancellation occurring between 72 and 48 hours of tour will receive a 50% refund of tour fare. Any cancellation occurring within 48 hours of tour date will not be eligible for refund. Unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund if you arrive late for pickup and miss the bus for any reason. Please, arrive early for pickup. Don’t miss the bus and lose your investment—and a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. No-shows will incur full cost charges/no refunds.
Maui Craft Tours reserves the right to cancel tours due to inclement weather or unfavorable road conditions. Consideration for such circumstances is determined by the Owners and Tour Guides. At time of tour cancellation due to said circumstances, all available efforts will be taken to notify the scheduled customers; including call, email or text.
ALCOHOL OR DRUG CONSUMPTION DURING TOUR
There are very specific rules governing alcohol consumption on Maui. All tastings will be limited to licensed areas at each stop along the way. No outside beverage containers (bottles, cups, flasks, etc.) will be allowed on the van. Any retail alcohol purchases made throughout the tour will be stored in the back of the van until the tour is complete.
There is no illicit drug consumption allowed during any part of the tour.
Any guest discovered holding or consuming any outside alcohol (not provided by the licensed vendors during the tasting portions of the tour) or illicit drugs will be asked to leave the tour and no refund will be provided. Any guest asked to leave the tour will be responsible for any costs incurred for third-party travel back to the pickup destination.
REFUNDS ONCE TOUR STARTS
Full refunds, or rebooking into a new tour time, will be provided if the tour is interrupted due to equipment failure, road closure or unexpected changes in weather that result in unsafe driving conditions.
Hawaii state liquor laws prohibit serving alcohol to any person, who is at the time under the influence of liquor, drugs, or any combination thereof. If, during the duration of the tour, an employee of any venue determines that you are under the influence of liquor, drugs, or any combination thereof, they may refuse to serve you alcohol. In this event, Maui Craft Tours will not refund any portion of the tour fee.
No refunds will be provided to any Maui Craft Tours guests who are forced to leave the tour early as a result of any of the following:
Inappropriate or drunken behavior
Asked to leave venue due to behavior
Venue refusal to serve alcohol
Any guest not allowed back on the van will be responsible for any costs incurred to get back to the pick-up destination. Maui Craft Tours employees have full discretion to determine if guest conduct violates any of the aforementioned policies.
Passengers who appear to be intoxicated upon arrival at the pick-up location or at the beginning of the tour will not be allowed on the tour and no refund will be applied.
